Any type of entertainment will be fine here. It's also a hideaway, so I guess I can recommend it as a "ninja". I don't know because I've never been sneaky (lol) I think many Kanto people have the impression that Kyoto cuisine is lightly seasoned, but that's not the case at all. The ingredients may be good, but it has a very strong taste. And the beauty of the bowl will whet your appetite. There is a sake called Yamabuki from Iwatsuki, but I had no idea that Iwatsuki had such delicious sake. It's a surprise. It seems that bamboo shoots grown in the backyard are in season right now, and they will be able to provide what they have harvested every morning. The sea bream and simmered Japanese pepper cooked with plenty of bamboo shoots was shocking. It costs 20,000 yen per person, but I don't think there are any restaurants where you can enjoy it that much. It's nice to have the owner come over to say hello and say thank you for the delicious food. If I had to point out things, I would say that it was a bit cold, and that it would have affected the conversation if two people served the meal instead of just one person, making things go a little smoother. That's really it, it's perfect.

I've used it several times, and no matter how many times I come, there's always a place like this in Iwatsuki! That's what it feels like. It has the feel of a long-established Kyoto restaurant, where you can spend a relaxing and elegant time. The food is absolutely exquisite! I think this is a must-see restaurant if you are planning to use it for celebrations or entertainment.

I used the course meal at a memorial service. I wonder if it's run by a family...I couldn't deny that there was a lack of staff in the service department, such as serving meals, but they made me feel welcome. In terms of food, the fish, meat, vegetables, and more were all really delicious, and the gentle seasoning and unusual items were a delight for both the eyes and the mouth. Everyone went home very satisfied, so I'm glad I chose this place. In terms of price, it's not a restaurant where you can eat cheaply, but I think it's a good place when you want to eat delicious food slowly.
