More Comments at Google MapCounter seats are recommended. I was completely satisfied with the atmosphere and hospitality. Next time, I would like to come again for entertainment. looking forward to it.
From Heiwadai Station on the Ryutetsu Nagareyama Line, pass by the 7&I Ito-Yokado Nagareyama store and arrive at Nagareyama Kaido, where you will find a historic wooden restaurant-style restaurant (the owner says, ``We're a Japanese restaurant, haha)'' ”) restaurant comes into view. That is "Kyoto Cuisine Kaneki", which I visited this time. Of course, there is plenty of parking, so access by car is also easy. I also had work to do later, so I came by car and didn't drink alcohol. You can enjoy cooking even without alcohol. Moreover, Kyoto cuisine is rare around here, so I thoroughly enjoyed it. Above all, the dishes are prepared with care and care. It's sure to be good. Kyoto style tends to be thought of as bland, but this is a misunderstanding; the seasoning is minimal in order to bring out the deliciousness of the ingredients to the fullest. A good example is raw sushi, which uses horse mackerel and other ingredients that can be eaten raw, but has a shallow finish so that you can enjoy the ingredients as they are. Making it sashimi, dipping it in soy sauce, and some people even adding ginger to it...it's something that even we amateurs can do. When you eat food at a restaurant, you are acquiring skills that cannot be achieved by amateurs. The conger eel and pumpkin stuffed with bean paste are also carefully crafted using first-class ingredients. It's very delicious, including the soup stock for the bean paste. The main food is fish and vegetables, but it's enough to fill you up. At the end, rice, miso soup (red soup with nameko mushrooms), chirimen sansho pepper, and pickles are served as a ``meal''. Refills of rice are available. There is no omission in everything! That's what it feels like. As I was a solo customer, I was seated at the counter, but I was able to watch the lively movements of the chefs and enjoy a conversation with the owner. As you might expect from a craftsman, there are many things to talk about (lol). The omakase course costs 5,500 yen (tax included), which is a price you can fully enjoy.
I used it for the first time, but it was the best restaurant for both food and atmosphere. You can enjoy authentic Kyoto cuisine that makes you feel the season by the owner who trained in authentic Kyoto.
