We had a healthy and delicious lunch made with wild yam and pesticide-free vegetables. The eggs were also special, with a rich yolk and a delicious taste. This is a place I would like to come to as a treat for myself and my family.

A restaurant specializing in healthy Japanese yam dishes. You can enjoy a variety of dishes using wild yam. The hostess's husband grows wild yams on his own in the nearby mountains, so you can enjoy creative dishes that use plenty of fresh wild yams. It feels good to be treated with kindness and courtesy by the proprietress and all the staff. Each dish is explained in detail, which makes it even more enjoyable to eat. I visit them about once a month, except when a state of emergency is declared. When I visited on January 7, 2022, the lunch style had changed a little from before, and the miso soup was free to refill. Only those who need rock salt for tempura and straws for drinks can bring them to the table themselves. I always had the ``Tororin Lunch'' (2,200 yen including tax). ``Shiso juice🍹'' has become a standard dish that comes with a drink. Unlike before, the Japanese yam yam bowl is also made by grinding the sesame seeds in a small mortar before adding them. The appetizer for each dish changes every time (this time it's mukago), but with the exception of kakiage with wild yam, I get something different every time, so I'm really looking forward to it. Later, when I visited in November 2022, the menu had changed, and the contents of the previous "Tororin Lunch" had changed. We will post the new menu. The new menu is also attractive. The restaurant doesn't have many seats, so I think it's best to make a reservation. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Business hours are 11:00-15:00.
