Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Hiyoshi Soba

Zara soba are always my favourite. But here… they became my absolute favourite!! Amazing atmosphere, quaint garden in the back and the fresh breeze was welcoming after a long day hiking. Don’t miss it if in the area.

After I got off Keihan Sakamoto Hiei Station to head to Sakamoto Cable Car Station for Hieizan Temples, Then, on the way, I found this Old Japanese style restaurant. It is nothing spacial about food here, however, a style and atmosphere , serenity and ambience are really good, I saw a lot of students from nearby high school around here( owned by a Buddhist temples) This section of city are wonderful, actually. I had a cold Soba noodles. It was tasty,Thank you for your hospitality.

very nice service. the soba was authentically japanese. gotta try the Harring and sweet tofu soba.
