A hidden Japanese restaurant in Shigaraki, the town of pottery. The dishes are exquisitely crafted and the craftsmen's outstanding skills are amazing! It is popular among non-Japanese people as it allows you to enjoy the Japanese atmosphere. This shop is located off a small street a little far from the city of Shigaraki. The exterior is purely Japanese, with a well-maintained garden, and when you enter the room through the noren curtain, you'll feel excited to see Japanese tableware lined up on the counter-style shelves in the kitchen. The only course available is Michikusa Gozen. Basic rice, soup, grilled fish, pickles, seasonal stews, and dashimaki eggs. It may seem poor in words, but when you eat it, you'll realize it's a dish that enriches your soul. The rice is wonderful, from the way it is cooked to the sweetness. Soup has a strong aroma from the soup stock and miso that cannot be imitated with just a little skill. The simmered dishes are truly the art of Kyoto cuisine, and the soup stock brings out the ingredients without clouding, allowing you to enjoy the delicate flavors of the vegetables. Please note that the restaurant is only open during lunch hours, and depending on the time the restaurant may run out of food and you may not be able to get in, so reservations are recommended. Be careful on the path leading up to the store, as large cars may scrape the sides.

I came to Shigaraki for lunch, but I couldn't enter the store I was looking for, so I searched for somewhere and it was a hit. When I came here, it looked amazing. The meal was served in Shigaraki ware and served on a beautiful tray. The tea and rice were carefully made one by one, and it was a moment of healing. It was such a luxurious lunch, but I think the price was from 1620 yen. From the appearance, I thought it would cost about 3000 yen, but everything was within 2000 yen. It has become a special place that I would like to visit again.

I've been wondering about it for a long time. Reservations are required. All dishes are Shigaraki ware. The dishes that you can taste the deliciousness of the ingredients will make you want to refill the rice unintentionally. The garden is also nice and I realize that it was good to be Japanese. Repeat is certain.
