A Five Star MUST! On your tour of Japan. This reputable place has one of the best chefs in all of Japan. I’m exposing one of the best kept local secret as well. If you want to eat like a local and not a tourist this is “An Experience” you should not deny yourself. Space is limited at this exclusive location and it is highly coveted, so get there early. My Favorite was this chicken dish, which is unlike anything I’ve ever tasted, and I have had a lot of chicken in my lifetime. The chef took attention to detail and presentation. Others in my party were just as impressed with their Delicious dishes. This impressive Chef and his kind wife run the restaurant extremely well and both are accredited with remodeling the space into this fabulous ambience you will find enchanting in Shiga. They Also change the menu to different dishes regularly to keep it fresh to tease your palate. Again, don’t deny yourself this wonderful experience during your stay in Japan. I’ll make sure to always go out of my way to visit. Space is limited and it’s highly coveted so get there early.

The store is a renovated old private house, but it was bright, clean and had a very good atmosphere. The famous white mapo tofu is completely separated from the spicy minced meat, so you can enjoy it together or separately. There is almost no spiciness, and the Japanese pepper is effective instead of Sichuan pepper. The weekly small bowls were also carefully made, and especially the carpaccio of kamaboko, which was made with Nampula, was enjoyed as a creative dish that mixed the good parts of each country. The atmosphere of the store clerk is also very good, and I would like to visit you again.

I wonder if it will be called a creative Chinese restaurant...? There is a parking lot a little further away. Please do not drive in front of the store. The road is narrow, and above all, there is no access to the parking lot. As the name of the restaurant suggests, there are many dishes that have a slightly Chinese feel to them. Above all, mapo tofu is transparent. It's very strange, but when you put the meat miso, bean paste, and tofu in your mouth, it's definitely mapo tofu. I wonder if the tingling sensation comes from Japanese pepper rather than Japanese pepper? The small bowls also use seasonal ingredients and are colorful, well-presented and delicious. The soup is not just a dish that has been left out for some reason, but it is good to have an elegant soup stock. The almond tofu I had for dessert was delicious, including the cream on top. It goes well with coffee. The staff's customer service is reasonably polite and pleasant. The inside of the store is clean and comfortable. This is a restaurant where you can feel very satisfied with the service, including the food. Only one thing. Please note that sometimes they run out of ingredients and close early.
