Koka, Shiga, Japan｜錦茶屋

We had a relaxing lunch in a spacious restaurant in a quiet location. I wanted to eat brown arm mushi, so I had a set meal of a large brown arm steamer and sushi. It came with water sweets and was very elegant with lots of fruit. The compote of figs was delicious.

I had a tempura set meal (about 1500 yen). was delicious… I finally found this restaurant after looking for a place to eat while driving. There were no chain stores around, and I was nervous about what to do if it was a very expensive store. It looks like an old-fashioned shop, and both the general and the proprietress seemed to be very good people. Children also bothered us, but there was children's sushi (about 600 yen). it was good…. It's more expensive than family restaurants, but I'm satisfied with the taste and atmosphere.

It looks like it takes courage to enter, but it has a homely atmosphere and is reasonably priced. The taste is perfect.
