Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Tonkatsu Taku

Best Tonkatsu in recent memory, or simply The Best I Ever Had. It's a MUST EAT for whoever visits Otsu.

Chose this place for lunch from Google Map. Definitely worth the adventure looking for the restaurant while enjoying the walk. Food is delicious, especially the tonkatsu - crispy breaded exterior, with the pork just nicely cooked with lots of juices when you bite into it... the chef did an awesome job! Also, we are a family from Singapore and depend on the Google Translate app to make out some part of the menu (owners dont speak English much). So Google, thanks for the great apps too!

I received the aged special loin. It's very tender, but the more you chew, the more flavorful the meat becomes and the more delicious it becomes.
