Higashiomi, Shiga, Japan｜Nishimura

I had a sushi set for lunch on Saturday. There weren't many places to eat nearby, so I came across this place by chance, so I went in. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and the food was delicious with 8 pieces of sushi, chawanmushi, and 3 types of small dishes. The customer service was also polite and good.

Search for a little-known spot on Google and visit for the first time! I had the sushi set and the eel set. For less than 2,000 yen, it was a great deal with udon (or chawanmushi) and side dishes. It was the first time I tasted pickles, with the scent of sake spreading in my mouth. If you sell them individually, I definitely want to buy them! I thought, but when I was full, I forgot to ask and went home... I'll go next time and ask 😅

There aren't many quiet places to eat around here, so I searched on Google Maps and visited with a friend on a weekday lunch. After taking off my shoes, I was led to a room with four tables, but it wasn't too crowded, except for one older couple who came later. Since the day of the ox was coming up soon, I had the Unaju Gozen for 1,800 yen (excluding tax). It comes with chawanmushi, but you can change it to small udon for an additional 50 yen. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious at a reasonable price, so I'm glad.
