Warm and friendly. We decided to stop here on our ride around Lake Biwa to sample the local foods which include fish and shrimps from the lake and red konnyaku. Delicious and heavy on veggies.

Delicious food and excellent service. The place has a very comfortable atmosphere perfect to just chat and enjoy each other’s company. The place is a machiya style restaurant and some of the decor is dated back to Edo period.

Ridiculously good and inexpensive local food. Kaiseki style. Friendly staff. Definitely a must-try.
