Higashiomi, Shiga, Japan｜Itadaki

This is my first time visiting here. The staff was very friendly when I made the reservation over the phone, so I was looking forward to it. Food is ordered a la carte. They kindly responded to our requests and we had a very delicious and enjoyable time. I would definitely like to visit again. The tatami room is partitioned off, so we had no problems at all. The salt-grilled Nodoguro was exquisite. The staff's response was also very good. I was also interested in the separate members-only room.

Each dish is made with care and you can feel the love that goes into cooking. The ingredients are fresh and very delicious! The owner and the landlady are friendly and pleasant. Tatami rooms are good, but counter seats are also recommended. It's a bit pricey, but it's a restaurant you'll want to visit again. (There seem to be many repeat customers.)

We made a reservation for my parents' anniversary and went as a group of 6. I left the cooking to the chef and asked for a 5,000 yen meal. It feels like a restaurant for adults with a very nice atmosphere, the staff is very friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood, wild vegetables, Omi beef, and everything else I had, so I would definitely come back again.
