Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Joyfull

Joyful is always a good value. My husband and I can eat a big meal and shaved ice for 2000 yen total. If you get the soup and drink bar, make it 2600. Recently, the meals taste not as delicious. I think they have a new cook or need to change their fryer oil. But it's still excellent for a bargain. I usually get fried chicken salad with rice, miso soup, and pickles. Husband usually gets cheese hamburg lunch special which comes with free bread roll or rice until 3pm.

I can't think of a best restaurant in Japan. Cheap, lots of options, and delicious.
