Higashiomi, Shiga, Japan｜American Dining Tomato and Onion Gokasho store

The place is great and cozy, the staffs are friendly and the Foods are really good.

2023.4 Late lunch time at Tomato & Onion/Gokasho branch, one of the Skylark group. The daily menu is usually available until 15:00, and this time I ordered the cheese fondue hamburger set from the spring fair menu. I'm really happy that Tomaoni's famous curry and rice + daily soup come with free refills. I think the grill menu here is always delicious. Also, unlike Gusto, which is affiliated with the same group, the original atmosphere inside the store is close to the roots of the main store in Maizuru, Kyoto. If I had to pick one thing, the black curry was lighter compared to other restaurants, so it felt a little thinner and looser. Next time, I definitely want to try the three-tiered hamburger steak for 1000 yen (until 3pm). Thank you for the meal.

It's a restaurant that is constantly evolving, going through the eras of stamp cards, salad bars, and ice cream bars, but with things like a kids' corner, cotton candy, and more seating.
