This place is lovely! The food was delicious and the portion sizes plentiful. I ordered the pasta set and loved it. The building seems to be a restored traditional house, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Exactly the rustic, hidden away feel you want for a relaxing visit to Takashima. :)

Open only on Fridays and Saturdays. I think it's better to make a reservation before going.

It's a little hard to get to in terms of location, but it was worth the trouble. Lunch with lots of vegetables for lunch was exquisite. I want to go again. Reservation is required. I went in the summer, but the air conditioning is weak, so if you don't like the heat, it's better to go when it's cool.
