Takashima, Shiga, Japan｜Mon goûter

This is a small French restaurant run by a husband and wife team. There were about 6 tables inside, so I think it's safe to make a reservation before visiting. It was a comfortable shop with a clean interior, a high ceiling with a sense of openness, a peaceful view of the Metasequoia trees, and sincere customer service. The food was also very satisfying. I had a pasta set for lunch, and I was quite satisfied with the appetizer platter. As for the dessert, I thought it would be a small and cute size since it was a set, but it turned out to be a satisfying amount that I enjoyed till the end. We also had two types of bread, both of which were delicious. It seems that they are ordering frozen items from France before they are baked. The food and drinks seem to change with the seasons, making me want to visit regularly. The parking lot was small, but there was a parking space for bicycles and motorcycles behind the store. I think it would be fun to take a leisurely bicycle ride from the nearest station.

I was finally able to go to Mongouter, which I had been curious about for a while! The interior of the store was clean with white as its main color, and the view of Metasequoia and the mountains from the large windows was lovely. I had a meat and fish course for lunch, and it was very tender and delicious 😄 There were several appetizers, and all of them were delicious and the ingredients were carefully selected. Plus, we also had cake and coffee, which looked like they were handmade and tasted delicious✨ The staff at the shop were also smiling 😃 and I was happy with the courteous customer service 😄 I'll bother you again💓

The appetizer soup was like a creative French restaurant, and all the dishes were delicious. The volume is a little small, but you can use it as a substitute for rice bread♪ If you add options like dessert, the price will be quite high 💦
