Hikone, Shiga, Japan｜Menya Koyoken

We arrived as a group of 3 on a Tuesday around 1pm and were able to be seated without waiting. The clerk immediately lent me a basket to store my luggage. I ordered a large bowl of Chinese soba, back fat soba, and salt soba. The menma in the Chinese soba was soft and had a lot of flavor, and the pork chashu had the flavor of rare meat on the inside, but the outside was seasoned, giving me the impression of a careful workmanship. The soup was a little grainy, but the dashi stock was effective, and I thought the ramen made good use of the ingredients overall.

(ФωФ) The soup has a lot of dried sardines on the entire surface, but after the dried sardines, the rich flavor follows. Noodles are probably straight type medium noodles rather than fine noodles with a low water content. This noodle has a very strong wheat flavor and is very delicious. The char siu is also rare char siu, but it is a high-level char siu that is overflowing with meat juice that makes you feel the flavor of the meat. Menma is also thin, but it is delicious with a perfect taste. This ramen, tsukemen is a very well-balanced and wonderful ramen. I think it's a top-class restaurant in the ramen scene in Shiga Prefecture. (personal opinion) I really want you to go there (ﾟ∀ﾟ*) Thank you for the meal (｡-人-｡)

Visited on February 19, 2023 Third visit this year. Today I had Mr. Komatsu's black Chinese food from the limited menu. The sharp soy sauce hits me hard, and I finished the soup. (as always) I always think that all the menu items are delicious. It was raining today, but there were a lot of customers as usual. Visited on July 18, 2022 I have visited many times since it first opened. It's so delicious that you can eat it every week and never get tired of it. Today I had cold dried sardines and salt mazesoba, which is only available in July. The dried sardines have a strong effect and are irresistible for those who like dried sardines. The green leaves give it a refreshing aroma, and adding yuzu and pepper halfway through the dish gives it a different flavor that you won't get tired of till the end. The noodles are flat noodles with corners, and when you bite into them, the sweetness of the wheat spreads in your mouth. The ramen made by the general is always the best. I will come again to eat!
