Toyosato, Shiga, Japan｜Sanbazuru

So I'll be the first English review here, but I did order and talk in Japanese. I got the karaage set meal and it was delicious and very affordable. It was not busy when I went at lunch. The owners are very nice people and I got to chat with them a bit before I left. Since the restaurant is near the school which served as the setting for K-ON! there's some K-ON! stuff on display inside and by the entrance. If you don't know any Japanese you'll definitely have trouble because there is not a single word of English on the menu. I'd really recommend coming here before or after checking out the K-ON! school (I'm assuming that's why you're coming to Toyosato).

It is located about 5 minutes walk from Toyosato Station. There are not many restaurants nearby where you can eat food. K-ON! Since it is close to the sacred place of , there are many related goods available. I went there for lunch, and the tonkatsu set meal I ordered was the most delicious I've ever eaten. The friedness of the tonkatsu and the amount of meat are just right. Since it is run by a husband and wife team, it takes time to place an order. There were other attractive menu items such as sashimi set meal, tempura set meal, and shrimp fried set meal, so I would definitely like to visit again.

The fried chicken set meal was delicious! ! The senior's grilled fish set meal that I went with also looked delicious (it looked elegant and delicious) The atmosphere of the shop is also good, and coffee is included after the meal, so it is recommended at a shop that is more than the price.
