Oi, Fukui, Japan｜Torimasa

Found this place near our hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The chef was clearly skilled and made our orders perfectly. He was also extreme friendly and welcoming. We tried the blue fin tuna, fried cheese, the shumai dumplings, the karagge chicken, the stir fry, the Cesar salad and the fried shrimp. Portions are perfect for ordering lots of items to try. All excellent dishes. Fun bar/restaurant with an energetic atmosphere and lots of locals who clearly enjoy the place. We were treated so well and enjoyed our visit! If we find ourselves in Oi again, we will definitely go back.

The blue fin tuna sashimi was the best I've ever had.

It was absolutely delicious. I went there late, but the last order was at 9:30 pm, so I was able to eat slowly 😄
