Both the food and service were absolutely stunning, and we learned a lot about the history of the area, too. They serve a local variety of udon made with pumpkin, and it's quite yummy. You need to make reservations ahead of time; but, if you cant, they're very accommodating. We had difficulty making reservations the day before, and they were able to give us a same-day reservation. They also have very good English skills. AAA+

Very cozy restaurant surrounded by beautiful nature. The food is both amazing and cheap. The staff is also accommodating and talkative. It was a fantastic start to my travels in Japan. I can't recommend it enough, but remember to reserve first!
