Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi, Japan｜Takedaya

Not only is this my favorite restaurant in 市川三郷町, it is the friendliest restaurant I have been to in 山梨県! The family here is truly a servant to the restaurant industry, and it shows on their quality. The first meal I had at this shokudo is キムチ豚. To see a cook who understands the need for kimchi to caramelize with the pork is a blessing to my palate. This alone sold me on coming here again. However, the オムライス、カツカレー、and 秋刀魚塩焼き were all just as convincing. After countless other meals here, I can only say that this place deserves a place in many other hearts here in Yamanashi.

The menu has a wide variety and is reasonably priced. Because local ingredients are used, it is highly satisfying as a passing customer. It was very delicious.
