Indian food in Kajikazawa? This is the last place I’d expect an Indian restaurant, much less a good one, yet here it is, and good it most certainly is. Delicious, generous naan made fresh to order, tasty curry in a just-right portion, and friendly trilingual staff (they speak English in addition to Japanese). The ambiance is a funky little small-town family place, but nothing wrong with that. You can also get takeout of most items, which is really convenient. They have parking now, as well as a selection of beer, wine, hard alcohol, and soft drinks. Try the cheese naan—tasty!

It is located across from Kyonan Hospital. There are 3 flat parking spaces in front of the store. 3 table seats, 3 in the back room. Visited on Saturday before noon. Ordering takeout is also popular. Ordered the daily special, spinach curry, and samosa. The naan was large, fluffy and delicious. You can change to cheese naan + 250 yen. The amount of cheese is unbelievable. The samosas are also full of potatoes. The curry also came in a nice plate, and there was a lot of it. 950 yen with mango lassi, a reasonable price. I'm full. There is also a children's menu, so there are many families with small children. It is run by a couple from Nepal. When I return home, I would like to go eat there again.
