One of the best standing soba shops I've eaten at. Warm bowl of soba that costs under 500 yen with plenty of toppings that is ready in 2 minutes. Highly recommend grabbing a bowl!

This is a perfect example of station standing noodle bar - fast, tasty (with some quite original flavouring), cheap, warming and fulfilling. Absolutely worth visiting before boarding the train, especially if you are caught off guard as we were... This might not seem so but Kobuchizawa really is a mountain place and as in the mountains the temperature drops quite significantly when the evening arrives. So the warm bowl of such tasty noodles hits the spot marvellously. And also it is a pleasant experience to watch the friendly staff cheerfully and professionally busy behind the counter, kind of like an essence of such establishments...
