I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Dinner course was amazing. Exceptionally well made locally sourced food in a renovated old house. Spacious (in a great way), but the service and layout helps it feel private. Portions are a little small, but very tasty.

We enjoyed lunch at Osteria Asiat in Fujimi-cho, Nagano Prefecture. I wanted to eat Italian food in Nagano Prefecture while driving after the Obon holidays, so I called and made a reservation in advance at Osteria Asiato, which had high reviews. After getting off the interchange and driving for about 20 minutes on a public road using the navigation system, I came across a shop that looked like a renovated old folk house with good ventilation and sunlight. We had a 2,000 yen lunch, which included an assortment of appetizers, pasta, dolce, and an after-meal drink. First of all, the appetizers are delicious! All the vegetables used in the dishes are delicious! The seasoning is carefully done so as not to interfere with the taste of the vegetables. Delicate, careful and delicious! The quantity was also just right. For pasta, I chose bolognese. The sauce is so delicious that I wish they would sell just the sauce! I know it's rude to say this, but I felt like pouring bolognese sauce over rice and eating my fill! The aroma and taste of the parsley on top is amazing, and when you eat the pasta and herbs together, it becomes an indescribably rich flavor! The amount of salt and hardness of the pasta was just right. Bravo! Dolce is gelato made with Yatsugatake milk. The sauce was rhubarb and blood orange. The gentle sweetness of the milk and the sourness of the sauce were so amazing that I wanted to eat them in buckets! Coffee after a meal is solid. It was a perfect ending. The shop is a renovated old private house, but the windows are wide and you can feel the breeze of Fujimi Town. Although we encountered heavy rain during our meal, it was a very happy experience to be able to enjoy delicious pasta while feeling the nature. When I left the store, the staff saw me off. I would like to visit you in autumn next time. thank you very much.
