Hokuto, Yamanashi, Japan｜Country Kitchen Robin

I moved to Hokuto in August and have visited Country Kitchen Robin a few times now. Each time, the service and the food have both been phenomenal. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the menu is straight and to the point! They are best known for their burgers/Hamburg steak and both are amazing. The burger typically comes fully dressed with wedge French fries and ketchup. As an American expat, this burger brings me back home! The Hamburg steak can be ordered several different ways. You can also choose to order it as a set or a la carte. They also have lovely pizza and handmade seasonal desserts. The prices may be a little bit high but I think the quality of food speaks for itself. If you are in town, please stop by and visit them! You won’t regret it.

Robin hamburger is served with white sauce and tomato sauce, and both sauces go well with the fluffy hamburger. For the price, the burger could have been a little bigger. Pork ginger has a slightly modest taste of ginger, and children can eat it deliciously. Grilled vegetables with pork juice and sauce are the most delicious.

Used by family (2 adults, 1 infant) for weekday lunch in early August. I got in right away without waiting. About 80% of the seats were occupied. Terrace seating appears to be currently closed. Ordered Robin hamburger set ¥1,800. After ordering, I asked for the baby food to be warmed up, and I was relieved that they readily agreed. Before the food came, I thought, ``Let's feed her some baby food,'' but the food arrived in about 10 minutes. It was fast! Served piping hot on the iron plate! The combination of white sauce and tomato sauce was perfect and delicious. The hamburger steak is a little soft. The quantity was just right (my husband had a large bowl of rice), but I think it was a bit pricey. There was probably only one female staff member in charge of the hall, but she worked efficiently and was very kind even though there were quite a few customers. Strollers can also be folded up. The inside of the store is very stylish with a western country style. The BGM is also country music, perfect for the atmosphere of the store. The air conditioner works well and is comfortable. After dinner, we went to the ranch in the back to see the horses. I was able to walk around and see the horse stables. It doesn't smell at all. You can even see horses while having lunch (of course, it's free), which is great for families with children! Please be careful as there are many bird nests above the entrance. I was told at the cash register that I could not use the Yamanashi Green Zone coupon, but there was a poster of the applicable store posted at the entrance. I didn't really ask, but I wonder why it didn't work... Cashless compatible
