Hokuto, Yamanashi, Japan｜Kosaku

Stumbled across this gem while travelling from Karuizawa to Lake Kawaguchiko. First time trying Japanese Hoto Noodles (fat and thick noodle). Place is very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking available outside as well. Tables in the restaurant are mostly tatami style tables so you have to take off your shoes upon entering. Portion of noodles is huge, served in piping hot bowl. Serves as a great comfort food

Amazing location, delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. The Udon is house made and all the bowls have lots of fresh veggies! Expect to pay 1500+ per person, but it is worth the price!

I really like the atmosphere in the store, it has a rustic feel. This is quite a noodle soup with pumpkin, a big bowl, and a variety of vegetables. The feeling of satisfaction is very strong. Waited in line for 30 minutes.
