Hokuto, Yamanashi, Japan｜Pasta and PIzza Garden Marjoram

We really enjoyed our meal here. Strong Italian flavors with generous portions; the carbonara is excellent if you like it thick and old school flavorful (it's not a dainty dish). Energetic ambiance and friendly (if not a bit quick) service. We waited about 20 minutes for a table but the outside waiting area is nicely setup, and the food is served promptly. Charming restaurant and a nice find in Kobuchizawa. It seems to be quite popular too. Not sure how they handle the outside waiting experience during winter though.

Rustic Italian restaurant place near Kobuchizawa. You can sit outside with pets and enjoy lovely homemade tiramisu. For lunch we had quattro fromaggio pizza and pasta carbonara which were both excellent 🤌. The staff is friendly and quick but you can only pay cash. I hope they start accepting credit cards this year!
