I stumbled upon Soba restaurant in Yatsugatake during a recent visit to Yamanashi, and what a delightful find it was! This cozy, secluded spot is a true hidden gem, open only during lunch hours. Dogs are allowed on the terrace seats. The highlight of my visit was their Kamo-soba, featuring tender duck meat and a delightful yuzu-flavored dashi soup. The flavors melded together perfectly, creating a unique and delicious soba experience that I won’t soon forget. The ambiance is serene and peaceful, offering a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The location is hard to find, but it's definitely worth going and eating. On the terrace, you could hear the chirping of birds, and the duck soup had a lot of duck meat in it, and the yuzu scent was refreshing and delicious.

Duck soba was delicious! The store clerk is also kind and pleasant. The terrace seats will lend you a blanket, so your heart and knees will warm up. It seems that the soba will end as soon as it is gone. A soba restaurant I want to visit again.
