Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, Japan｜Kotobuki

The hoto was incredible, we had the classic miso style and the curry style hoto - both were warm and flavourful. The server was lovely and very helpful as we left our phones at home and struggled to translate the menu.

Staff are fantastic. Explained to the waitress that I had issues with intolerances and they sorted me out with food (salt and pepper steak with sautéed vegetables) that I could eat. Wonderful views of lake Shoji from the window seats and a relaxed atmosphere inside. Would recommend!

Good westernised Japanese food plus sweets including parfaits. They have 5 outdoor tables facing the lake.
