Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi, Japan｜イルバッコビス

Found this Italian gem in Kawaguchiko using Google Maps. Limited parking in front and cozy atmosphere inside. We were told that we HAD to order drinks which is a bit strange but not an issue. They recommended a local grape juice that is rich it’s like wine without alcohol. 👍🏼 Menu was presented in written Japanese so Google translate had a little trouble deciphering. But we managed to order prosciutto pizza and spaghetti. The squid pasta was the highlight, really nice with the squid cooked just nice and pasta was al dente. They only accept cash and the price was good. They listed the price with all tax included so it’s easier to pay in cash.

My partner and I spent a lovely dinner at this place and had the best pizza in our whole japan trip! Thank you chef!
