More Comments at Google MapWe don't speak Japanese but they were soooo friendly there even though we had to communicate through gestures and translators. 🙂 We ate great Udon dishes. Lovely and local place.
The store is located in a residential area that is difficult to reach without a navigation system. The parking lot in front of the store is spacious, so it's safe. I got the beef udon. What is worth mentioning is the deliciousness of the meat. Many Yoshida udon restaurants use horse meat as an ingredient in their meat udon, but the horse meat at this restaurant has a strong sweet and salty seasoning and is slowly stewed until the tendons become mushy. It's so delicious that you can nod the horse meat as a separate topping. The noodles are boiled to bring out the flavor and deliciousness of the unique Yoshida Udon noodles, and the clear broth and horse meat go very well together and are very delicious. In addition, the spiciness is also unique, with a slight garlic flavor that goes well with meat udon. Although it is located away from the main street, I think that Yoshida udon has a very good balance of meat, noodles, and soup. I will ask again.
Speaking of Yoshida's udon, salt is used to make the noodles firm, but this restaurant doesn't use much salt to make the noodles firm. It may be hard for those who are trying it for the first time, but if you have eaten Yoshida's udon at other restaurants, you will find that it is a normal hardness. The regulars (genuine locals) seem to order the ramen from the owner in chunks, but it's delicious just as is. There are two basic types of udon: soy sauce-based and miso-based, but we recommend miso. In particular, the ``Miso Tsuke Udon'' is extremely delicious. If you are going with two or more people, I think it would be a good idea to compare regular "tsuke udon" and "miso tsuke udon". The ``Makanai-don'', which is available only on weekdays, changes depending on the stock availability, but it is a mini-don with crispy kakiage and original tempura sauce. It's so delicious! By the way, the owner has experience in cooking Japanese cuisine, so if you go on a weekday, be sure to try this ``Makanai-don''! Each "handmade pudding" is carefully made, so if you have one, please try it. Sometimes it's sold out, so you're lucky if you can find it!
