Yamanakako, Yamanashi, Japan｜Taihou

Very cosy local restaurant with local dishes. Must try is the pork houtou and tempura set meal. Serving is large and worth the price. Free limited parking outside restaurant or across the street is a supermarket parking.

Enjoyed the prawn tempura set - delicious. The hotato noodles with pork slices was nice too. Popular place with the locals, business was brisk when it opened at 11:30am. Saw locals eating the noodles and also their tempura soba set.

Visited without a survey upfront, but the food there is really good. I will rate the food here as #1 among the food I had in the short 7-days trip in Japan.
