Lovely quaint joint!! Excellent food & service, at very reasonable price. Will surely return if back in Fuji. Lady staff was polite, attentive & efficient. Went around 6pm, ordered the Russian beef in pot, with rice. Didn't have to wait long for food to be served, piping hot. Came with complimentary mini salad & coffee. The beef was excellently cooked with great flavor, the accompanying ingredients (cabbage/mushroom/etc) were very fresh & tasty! The other dishes served, like steak & shrimp, looked good too.

A hotel staff recommended me to try this steak house. It's quite old school but the quality is so damn good. No fancy food decorations, but the taste is so great. Please go to this one when you visit kawakuchiko!
