Came here as part of a company trip. It was the first time for me to make udon from scratch. I was not disappointed. I want to come back again! めちゃめちゃ楽しかったです❗✌😄

The food was excellent. Customer service was excellent. They have an English menu. Ohh and the pickles were O-M-G. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Located in the mountains, the only places to eat are the Ashikawa Agricultural Products Direct Sales Shop Ogossoya or Oishi Park by Lake Kawaguchi, which is a short walk away.First, we went to FUJIYAMA Twin Terrace and returned around noon to eat at Sawatsumatei. The store opens at 11am, so come in at that time. After looking at the website, I ordered a tempura set meal that looked particularly delicious. The parking lot is very spacious, the air is delicious, the water from the Ashi River is clean, and there are toilets. The restaurant is spacious with tables, water is self-service, and tourist pamphlets are available, making it a very relaxing restaurant. The interior is a bit like an old folk house, and the tempura is as advertised. There are also spring flavors and special menus depending on the season, and local mothers worked hard to make them in the kitchen. It was very delicious, and although I couldn't see Mt. Fuji from here, I was able to experience the warmth of the people.
