Good food, good people, good atmosphere. Very tourist friendly (unlike some other places that refuse to welcome tourists) Ordered tempura set and pork cutlet. The crisp, the juicy meat, tasty sauce... Very nice! Peaceful environment with several aquariums in the restaurant. The chopstick paper can be folded into mini Mt Fuji chopstick holder! Cute!

Small and cosy restaurant that serves common local food. The beef udon was good, but broth was slightly sweet to my liking. Their fried tofu is a recommended side dish to share. The pork don looked yummy too, but I didn't personally try it. Although we couldn't communicate very well with the staff/owner due to language barrier, they were polite and quick to serve us. A foreigner-friendly place as photos were provided in the menu as well.

This place was a lil hidden jewel to say the least! We entered unknowingly and we were greeted by a lady with a smile and she helped us to our table. - In terms of service: She was eager to explain the meal sets to us and as a party of three we ordered three sets, an extra tempura plate and a cold sake to share and honestly, it was amazing. Not knowing the language very well, with a few words, and pointing at the menu, we got around pretty nicely! - In terms of the food: The Pork Cutlet Set was crunchy and tasty! Keep in mind that you should be open for suggestions here, the lady suggested to drizzle the meat with the fruit sauce and let me tell you, it tasted great! My partner ordered a set of Assorted Sashimi and it was fresh and delightful as well. - Payments: Cash or Credit Cards - If you are ever around the Fujiyoshida City, come by and have a little taste of this local Japanese homey-feeling establishment.
