My favorite place to eat in Yamanashi!! ♥️

This is a set meal restaurant that has been around for a long time along the Koshu Highway, and is located near the Sasago Tunnel when heading from Tokyo, about 2 kilometers from the Otsuki Interchange on the Chuo Expressway. Inadaya is a set meal restaurant during the day and an izakaya at night, and is loved not only by locals but also by drivers on the highway. The standard set meals include ginger-yaki, levanilla, stir-fried vegetables, sashimi, boiled cutlet, katsu, yakiniku, karaage, and more. We also have a wide variety of rice bowls, including tuna bowl, egg bowl, Chinese bowl, meat bowl, oyakodon, green onion bowl, and katsudon. Noodles include Cantonese noodles, yakisoba, tanmen, miso ramen, meat udon, and ramen, making this a true food department store. By the way, Yamanashi Prefecture is a prefecture that eats a lot of tuna, and in fact, you can find sashimi and tuna on the menu everywhere. The karaage set meal on a separate board had about 5 large fried chicken pieces the size of a fist. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, fried chicken goes well with rice. The meat in the yakiniku set meal and the Otsuki Stamina Bowl tastes the same; it's pork, onions, chives, and garlic stir-fried in a sweet and spicy way. The miso soup is a shellfish soup with clams, and it's not just a side dish, but a delicious miso soup. Cantonese noodles have a thick seafood soup with flavors of shellfish and squid, as well as vegetables and pork, and the thick noodles are unique. There's an old woman who can't speak a lot, but that's part of the charm. Although it seems unlikely that large trucks will be able to stop, the famous set meal restaurants along Koshu Kaido are still alive and well.

An old-fashioned drive-in on the mountain pass. It has a really nice atmosphere.
