Kofu, Yamanashi, Japan｜Red Lobster - Kofu

Great food and fast service. We were there at the beginning of lunchtime. The food came out quickly. Highly recommend this restaurant, and they even have a kid's menu.

A fantastic reminder of the US, with the superb customer service of Japan. This Red Lobster does not disappoint with products, service, or quality. Absolutely loved the lobster claws, but it was the cioppino that took the spotlight. Rustic tomato pepper broth, delicious tender seafood, and a lovely old bay like spice. Wonderful with bread. Solid clam chowder, and great sized clams. Combo plate was great! Not a big fine of mayo or cheese on lobster, but it came with the plate. Fantastic paella, and a really good scallop. Dessert was a cheesecake creme brulee with mix berry coulis. Good tack, and rich custard. The coulis paired well, and left a refreshing finish. I will be back, if not for the nostalgia but the wonderful food.

Parking Lot is wide. The vibe inside the restaurant is kinda vintage. Its kind a warm and comfy. There's also a background music which is pop music.(i'd prefer some jazz/lounge music tho to match the comfy vibe 😅). Well, for the food its good but not as i expected. We ordered tower onion rings which i rate 5/5 unlike other onion rings, red lobsters onion ring has a crunchy texture outside and soft in the inside(other has too much coat and become soggy when cold) also there is mustard and catsup which is separated(so sweet,they think of customers who dont like mustard that much) 🙂. Next is the mussel /oyster with some fresh veggies on top, this would be my favorite in all we ordered,i'll rate it 5/5. I'm not fond of mussels but this food change my taste 😂 the salty sour veggies give accent to the mussels that will make you crave more while eating it. I would totally reccomend this one!next! Next is the lobster claw. I don't know. But in my opinion this one would be the last on my list. I would rate it 1/5. The texture of the claw was to rubbery and hard. I also dont understand why theres a ketchup/ catsup there😅😅 i really wanted to try lobster in a restaurant cause the last time we cooked a lobster its has the same texture and i thought maybe when restaurant would cook it, it would be taste much better. But now i know 😂🤣 Next is the paella. I'll rate 3/5. It taste good, good plating, lot of toppings but as i eat the taste gets boring.. Next the cheesy lobster and steak. I will rate it 3/5 not satisfied with the taste.. i think there's something missing. The baked lobster and cheese taste good, the steak kind a little bit hard sauce lack of saltiness to my taste. Maybe the combination of steak and lobster doesn't suit thats why i can't be satisfied. Next, the big steak. It was medium rare, tasty but lack of juiciness. Also its too fast to cooldown.i ate 1/4 of it and the steak is already cold. Maybe if this steak has warmer this would be very satisfying. I'll rate this 4/5. Garlic bread. 3/5. Same as the pan i bought anywhere. Too expensive for a bread that doesn't have any special feature. Garlic rice i will rate it 5/5. This garlic rice isn't just a garlic rice. I would prefer to call it a bacon pilaf. Compared to the normal garlic rice(which is white rice, fried garlic,salt,butter) this one is unique. Just order it so you will find out what i'm saying.
