Tsuru, Yamanashi, Japan｜Uechan

On January 14, 2020 (Saturday), I went to Uechan, a restaurant that I have visited several times, to eat a large bowl of nabeyaki udon (600 yen) in the light rain. In this day and age, the price of wheat flour is skyrocketing, but this shop is doing its best without raising the price of all menus. As expected, the recommended menu for this time of year is nabeyaki udon. The taste is miso, and it contains eggs and tempura, and the udon is chewy, so I think it's the best udon when it's cold. In addition, I am very grateful to have free pickles. It's cheap and recommended.

The flavor is strong and the soup goes well with the thick, hard Yoshida udon noodles, making it extremely delicious.

This is my first time eating in. Hmm? But actually, I wanted to eat Tsuru udon with my family, so I always bought raw noodles to take home. However, this was my first time eating at a restaurant. So, I can fully understand the deliciousness of the noodles, and I give it 5 stars. Today I ate a large portion of Kake Udon (1.5 balls, 400 yen). The dashi soup has a strong aroma and taste of red miso, and it is a wild soup stock with a ★ 4. The noodles are hand-cut and unevenly chewy, with a chewy texture. The green onions are in a container on the table, and the tenkasu is moist and refreshing. The pickled seeds are an honor student type with a good balance of spiciness and chili oil, which goes well with the soup stock. I would like to try the cold one next time. Recommended.
