Very authentic, vibrant atmosphere, and easily accessible off the side of a main road. Service was friendly, genuine, and staff offered several helpful recommendations. Food is both delicious and affordable: very reasonably priced. With a generous sashimi platter, plenty of Yakitori, alcohol, unagi, and saba, the bill added up to no more than ¥3,000 to ¥4,000 per person. Nothing we tried was bad - all highly recommended!

This is my new must go restaurant in Kawaguchiko. The food is just amazingly flavored. Since it is a family restaurant so the service is rather slow, but be patient because the wait is totally worth it. Pricing is not expensive as izakaya in Tokyo, around 2000 yen per person. A five star straight to this place.

We checked into our hotel late, so we couldn't get dinner there. Saw this place on Google maps and is honestly likely way better than whatever the hotel would have had. Food was so good we ended up ordering seconds. Very relaxing atmosphere and was very affordable. Our group of 7 ate for only about 17k yen total. Would recommend the Takoyaki set with teriyaki sauce. Probably the best meat I've ever eaten. The Peach Fizz and Oolong tea drink was also great, especially for those who don't really like the taste of alcohol. Just wish I was gonna be in town long enough to eat here again. Also, just one last main thing to note is that it's cash only.
