Otsuki, Yamanashi, Japan｜Hamanoya

My husband and I arrived very late but just in time for the last order for food at 21:00 and for drinks 21:30. We got our own private room upstairs. The prices are reasonable for the quantity. We ordered a single Houtou set for the both of us and it was plenty! It was warm and filling and hit the spot after our hike in a thunderstorm.

Love this place so much! The food was really good and so as the service. We stopped at here for a quick dinner before heading to Tokyo after a trip to Kawaguchiko 河口湖, as this happens to be the station that we transfer from local train to JR and hence the location is super convenient. I think the restaurant offers a local authentic taste of Japanese food. It’s great for dinner with a couple of drinks. We order chicken skewers, sashimi don, Caesar salad, grilled fish and more. Everything tastes good.

Taiwaneseヾ⁠(⁠･⁠ω⁠･⁠*⁠)⁠ﾉ Near Otsuki Station, I went to eat Pukong on the first day, came back from Fuji on the second day, and ate raw horse meat for the first time. The tempura gozen and salmon donburi are also delicious.
