Otsuki, Yamanashi, Japan｜いろり庵きらく 大月

I was really hungry and on my way back to Tokyo. I had to wait at the station so I decided to eat some noodles. I came across this restaurant at the station and ordered some simple noodles. The noodles were one of the best I've had in Japan. Exactly how I like it! I don't rememeber the price anymore but it was so good! For english speaker you can just order from the machine. Really easy and fast. Also a sweet woman making and serving me the noodles.

What a surprise, soba noodles were fantastic, just what I needed on a break for another train. The restaurant is in the station itself, you don't have to go out. The prices are very affordable but you need a cache, you are paying on the machine.

We had 35 mins to spare before our next train and was looking for lunch spots. Ordered the kakiage tempura soba and it was surprisingly delicious. It only took them 5 mins to prepare our order. Price is also quite cheap considering it's located at the station. You may also access the restaurant outside the station. It's a self service restaurant with a vending machine - multiple language available. Payment in cash or IC card only.
