Super friendly, generous and hospitable company. Gorgeous meals too. Returned and spent three evenings there.

The most delicious ramen we have ever had. Handmade noodles, yakitori, tonkatsu and osusume appetizer all delicious. Only Japanese speaking but trying to work with you. Lovely couple cooking their heritage foods in their home. Clean wide space, big enough for groups. You must try this restaurant if staying in omachi or hakuba! The couple is very nice and friendly. Also there is a table in an igloo!

Wonderful tiny spot that feels like eating a home cooked meal ... in someone's home. Simple and lovely. No spoken Japanese, but a full English menu helps enormously, and gorgeous range from fried mackerel, home-made pickles, ramen, yakitori skewers, fresh vegetables. Quiet spot, outrageously cute and highly recommended.
