I really love the cold soba here with grated radish. It was very smooth. The hot soup soba was just fine though. The place looks very traditional and cozy. Bonus point, you could kinda see Mount Fuji from their window. It’s a great place for lunch!

Authentic local soba and udon

Chances upon this gem on a rainy day. The restaurant is a fuss free diner which served awesome zaru soba. We ordered cold soba and hot soba soup, both with grated yam. Never knew that slimy texture is from grated yam. With the raw egg, very nice texture. One lady was very nice when I asked if I could park and drop by to visit the pond she gladly said yes and gave me a free parking ticket, when some ppl paid 1000yen just to park. Souvenir shop next door sells umbrella as well if needed
