Hakuba, Nagano, Japan｜Pilar Café & Restaurant

Pilar is a cafe and an authentic Italian restaurant located at an elevation of 1,680m adjacent to one of quad lift stations of HAPPO-ONE ski resorts. This time I had a course lunch starting with minestrone soup loaded with fresh veggies, followed by poare of tilefish/mussels and desserts. All the foods were exquisite and you cannot believe you are at the top of a mountain. The sauce of the main is very sophisticated. If you are visiting HAPPO-ONE for skiing trip, don't miss an opportunity of visiting this restaurant.
