I forgot to take a photo, but the tachiuodon was delicious! The ramen was also delicious with a traditional, rustic flavor. The store has a Showa-era atmosphere, which is nice 😊 The 100th anniversary of our founding is amazing. There is also a parking lot next to the store in front of Minoshima Station.

[Maruki Shokudo] is a restaurant located about 1 minute walk from Minoshima Station on the JR Kisei Main Line. This is a long-established restaurant that has been in business for over 95 years. I went to Arita City for work and when I googled it, it looked delicious, so I went there. There were a lot of tempting menus like Western food and udon, but I ended up ordering the restaurant's No. 1 dish, Tachi Uodon! The rice bowl is made with cutlass fish from nearby waters. The secret ingredient of crispy fried fresh hairtail fish? It's topped with pickled plums. The mitsuba leaves and sauce may not be very strong, but as expected from a long-established sauce, it goes perfectly with the rice and is delicious. I've had cutlassfish boiled spicy before, but this was my first time eating it like this, and it was delicious lol Be sure to check it out when you stop by Arita City!

The station cafeteria seems to have been in business for 100 years. The parking lot is located at the back of the store, where taxis are waiting, so it may be a little difficult to find. Is the husband serving customers and the wife cooking? I ordered a swordfish bowl with mini udon noodles, and the customers were also included. Does it take a while for the food to arrive?
