I was originally looking for a restaurant where I could eat tempura set meals, and I came across Maruki and visited. There is a noren (noren curtain), but there is no signboard or menu in front of the store, so when I first visited, I was a little hesitant, wondering if it was open, but when I opened the sliding door, I found a large space with a tatami room and a counter in the back. Yes, most of the tatami rooms were occupied, but we were able to sit together. When I looked at the menu, I saw that the sashimi set meal was the most popular, so instead of the tempura set meal, I decided to try the sashimi set meal this time. If you order a sashimi set meal elsewhere, you might expect to get about 3 types of sashimi, but I was surprised to find that there were about 7 types of sashimi, and all of them were delicious. If there was a store like this near my house, I would go there every day.

Being from the mountains, I didn't have high expectations, but I was surprised at how fresh the fish was. The attitude of the staff was very nice, and the wait time for the food was short, which was great. The volume of the bowl was also good. I want to go again.
