Our fave tonkatsu restaurant. Owners are very hospitable, best tonkatsu ever. Their ebi furau is to die for.

I had the Kirishima pork loin cutlet set meal. The shop is a cheap prefabricated building, there is a parking lot at the back of the building along the river, and there is a notice to park from the back. After ordering, I found out that it was a popular restaurant with customers constantly coming in even though it was past 1 o'clock, even though it was lunchtime. If you do not park well, the parking lot will fill up quickly. I wrote that the shop was cheaply built, but the inside of the shop was clean and the clerk's response was good. The taste was so delicious that I thought, "Maybe it's the best in Wakayama?" Apparently there is a recommended way to eat it, first squeeze the lemon over the whole tonkatsu and eat the first bite with salt. Then, enjoy ponzu sauce, grated daikon radish, and tonkatsu sauce. Normally, people think, "Let them eat whatever they want," but it seems better to follow the advice here. You can eat it in a variety of ways that you won't get tired of it. Perhaps because I squeezed the lemon first, I was able to enjoy it lightly. And the tonkatsu sauce is so delicious. There are many restaurants where the sauce is so strong that it feels like you're eating tonkatsu sauce instead of tonkatsu, but the gentle sweetness of the sauce doesn't overpower the flavor of the pork. You can see the original taste of pork properly beyond the sauce. The synergistic effect enhanced the power of Kirishima pork. While eating, I thoroughly enjoyed the sweetness of the pork and the sauce. For the time being, I felt like I won first place in the provisional Wakayama tonkatsu division (although no one has done such a contest).

Entered the store around 13:00 on Sunday. Perhaps because it was open until 14:00, I was able to sit down immediately with only one group. We have domestic pork loin cutlet set meal and loin cutlet curry. I felt that the meat was thicker than I thought and the taste was delicious, and it was cheap in this price range. Rice replacement is +100 yen. I don't think you can replace cabbage. The shop is beautiful and is run by a couple. HIRO of Yasuda Dai Circus is also visiting the store. Next time I will make a different menu!
