After the checking out bamboo forest the majority of the restaurants around were closed or about to close but this place was the few that was still open for a few more hours. Went in and was greeted by a nice lady and shows us to our table. Overall the food was delicious and they do have a good selection of cakes that they do make in the restaurant if you want any desserts.

After walking in hours around Arashiyama, we found this place to rest and had a nice meal. Although the food portion was relatively small, it was delicious with great hospitality. You may try if you want to experience eating in Japanese Western restaurant.

Rating as I’m eating. Stopped in for a quick lunch to get away from the rain. How is there not a line around the block. Best latte I’ve had here (and I’ve had lattes everywhere) and the toast is nice and thick. Curry was great. All around very nice!!! Early lunch is a must :)
