I made a reservation to visit Tenryu-ji Temple, Togetsukyo Bridge, and the bamboo grove from Tokyo. There were a lot of places to eat while walking around Togetsukyo Bridge, but I went back to the station (less than 10 minutes by walking slowly) and ate there, but it was a big hit! A set meal with handmade tofu and beautifully arranged side dishes is a reasonable price of 2000 yen including tax. It was a quality that would cost 3500 yen for the same content at a hotel in Tokyo. The taste of the side dish was also delicious, and my favorite seasoning for handmade tofu was yuzu salt. Also, the painting on the folding screen in the back of the store was beautiful shining in the sunlight. In addition, we want to visit if there is opportunity.

It was an au trial stay and breakfast and dinner were included. We received a variety of ingredients little by little in the Japanese-Western eclectic course. I especially liked the oyster sake lees gratin and misuji yakiniku. You can make last-minute reservations and changes at Sakura Arashiyama, and it's so economical! It was an experience. It was a better value than the pre-corona capsule hotels.

This Japanese restaurant is located on the 1st floor of Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama. Located in front of JR Saga Arashiyama Station and Torokko Saga Station. For lunch, I ate 9 kinds of obanzai (Kyoto home-cooked side dishes) and homemade tofu for 2,000 yen (tax included). I wanted to try tofu, a specialty of Kyoto, but since a set meal of tang tofu (poached tofu in boiling water) usually costs around 3,000 yen, I chose this place where I could try other things besides tofu. I poured starch water into soybean water and boiled it for a while. It was soft and savory. A combination of olive oil and soy sauce is recommended. Overall, the side dishes were good because they didn't taste too much soy sauce or salty.
