Handa, Aichi, Japan｜Yajirobe Handa

I entered the store with a friend around 2:30 on a Sunday. It was empty and I was able to sit down right away. Along with the tea, a sample of the soup stock was also served in a small paper cup. It was delicious, like a thick soup with a good dashi. I ordered a Japanese set meal for lunch and a tempura bowl lunch (large serving of rice and noodles). A large serving of rice is free, and a large serving of noodles can be added for 100 yen. I chose Korokishimen for the Tendon lunch. Unfortunately, the tempura bowl did not have much soup. Korokishimen is a simple noodle made with only daikon radish, but the cold soup was very flavorful and went well with the noodles. Happy hour is only available on weekdays, but drinks are half price all day long. I think it's recommended as there are plenty of alcoholic drinks available.

I think it's very good because they have a reasonable lunch menu on weekday nights as well. I think all the dishes are delicious and the menu is extensive.

I went there for the first time. Katsudon set (zaru udon) and teppan miso katsu set I ordered (zaru udon). The batter on the bonito was crispy and very delicious. Also, the teppan miso katsu was rare. Thank you for your delicious meal.
