This charming restaurant serves my favorite teshoku in Japan. Order the Nagasimateshoku. It’s hamburg, katsu, and a large ebi fry nestled among salad & pasta salad with rice and red miso soup. It’s a glorious mixture of various flavors and textures. The family crew has been working together for 15+ years and are satisfying to watch their teamwork, efficiency, cleanliness, and attention to customers. Anthony Bourdain would have loved this place.

I had a Nagashima set meal (fin cutlet, miso hamburger, fried shrimp)! A popular western restaurant in Nishio. I was particularly impressed by the fillet cutlet and fried shrimp. The fillet cutlet was soft and juicy, and the moment I took a bite, the umami spread with a sizzle, and it disappeared from my mouth in no time. Also, it's been a long time since I've had fried shrimp that feels so good. Thick. It was delicious. The handmade miso hamburger was also great. I went to Kitchen Nagashima, which is familiar to people who have lived in Nishio for a long time. This restaurant can be used by a wide range of people, from families to couples and friends. Of course, there is also a counter, so there is no problem even if you are alone. There are so many menus that I'm confused... The store's recommendation is the miso hamburger. I wanted to enjoy a variety of menu items, so I opted for the Nagashima set meal (1,550 yen), which included fillet cutlet, fried shrimp, and miso hamburger steak. While you were waiting, you could hear people around you ordering, and many of them were ordering the Nagashima set meal! After waiting for a while, the food arrives. At first glance, it looks voluminous. It's impressive. Miso hamburger steak has a strong miso flavor and goes well with hamburger steak ⭕️ The fillet cutlet is also thick and delicious. And what I liked most was the fried shrimp. First of all, it's big. It felt as big as a dining hall. And it had a plump and meaty texture⭕️ The atmosphere of the shop was nice and the staff seemed polite⭕️ They came over several times to refill water, etc., and were very attentive to the customers!
